Overview
Production Operative We are looking for a production operator to work for our world wide raw material business in Caerphilly. The position exists to provide operation of processing machinery and material handling of equipment. Catnic is a downstream business unit of TATA Steel Europe who manufactures and supply a range of products into the Housebuilding and Construction Sector. The Role: Operate processing machinery and material handling equipment in a safe and productive manner and to good standards of workmanship in order to deliver the required levels of customer service. What we are looking for: Have current RTITB (or similar) license to operate Side Loading Truck (SLT) and Front Loading Truck (FLT) would be useful. Good all round education with strong numeracy, literacy, IT skills, with strong mechanical aptitude and spatial intelligence. Be able to set up and operate any of the following machinery: Pressotechnik Tox machine DNC/CNC Hydraulic Press (Edwards Pearson) Multi Spot Welder, Bronx or Cincinnati Brake Press , Bronx Slitting Line would be an advantage.
