Activities Co-ordinator For Residential Care Home We are looking for Activities Co ordinatot for a beautiful Residential Care Home in Wokingham a place of care, kindness, support and security…. a home The Residents are benefitting from recent re decoration refittings and a beautiful extension.Everyone are very happy 36 hours per week-Generally 9am -5pm with some weekend days, such as fairs etc. We are happy to try and be flexible, so it could be 10am - 4pm for example. £10.50 per hour Requirements for Activities Co-ordinator Proven ability to develop and organise a range of events / activities for residents in all categories Good communication and organisational skills Team player Ability to work on own initiative Friendly, creative and confident Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group Satisfactory Police Check and check against the List (where applicable) Desired for Activities Co-ordinator Previous experience of working in a similar environment Qualification in remedial / occupational therapies Flexible approach towards working routines Main responsibilities of Activities Co-ordinator Individual Assessment & Monitoring: Ensure appropriate programmes are put in place which reflect the individual needs of residents; by Interviewing all new residents on admission and recording thorough details of their lives, relating to hobbies, activities, likes and dislikes on a specially designed page in the care plans. All care plans to be regularly updated: Programme Planning:Programme Content:Programme Effectiveness:Staff Involvement:Financial Management: Marketing:Training & Development: General support to the well-being and stimulation of Residents: Plan activities and achieve objectives within the agreed financial framework of expenditure. Relatives Participation: Ensure all Staff Members know how to use appropriate equipment. Attend mandatory training days/courses, on or off site, as and when required.
