Noise Logging Technician - Somerset & Wiltshire ( Trowbridge area) RPS Group RPS Group is an international environmental consultancy employing over 5,000 people worldwide and a key player in Water Leakage Management. Here at RPS, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Data Technician to join our team across Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire, working on our Wessex Water contract. The successful candidate will perform a vital role supporting the Leakage team to ensure they receive the data they need to identify areas of leakage. As well as being able to manage your work load, you will cover a large area deploying, retrieving, downloading and interpreting data from acoustic noise loggers. Your main responsibilities will include: Deploying and retrieving noise logging equipment Downloading the data to pinpoint areas of interest. Liaising with internal departments and external providers Keeping records up to date An understanding of Water Supply and Leakage would be an advantage, but training will be given Ability to manage and prioritise workload A positive and flexible approach to supporting team colleagues The ideal candidate would possess: Full driving license EUSR hygiene certificate, Streetworks and Confined Spaces qualifications are an advantage but not essential PC and systems literate This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89695561
