Overview
Platform are working with a client based in Cwmbran who are looking for a IT Support Technician to working within the IT team. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working within the engineering or manufacturing sector, with knowledge of dealing with SQL Servers, ERP, Scheduling and also building interfaces. Those candidates without previously experience will not be suitable. Overview 38 Hours per Week - Office Hours Hourly rate of around £16.80 - £17.71 p/h 28 days holiday including statatory bank holiday Autoenrollement pension scheme Key Responsibilities: • Research required Data Analyse existing SQL queries Develop procedure and scripts for data migration Building of business interface Develop, implement and optimise stored procedures and function using SQL Manage multiple complex projects Investigate exceptions with regards to asset movements Experience in SQL serve and stored procedures Strong SQL Microsoft Server experience Strong data integration experience Excellent organisational skills Being able to work to tight deadlines Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issue Essential skills: Excellent customer service abilities Ability to create maintenance plans High level of communication Good organisational skills and ability to be able to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines Initiative to work autonomously Hard-working and motivated If you think this role is right for you, please apply immediately by sending your CV online, or call our office on 01633 415305 if you have any questions.
