IT Support Engineer | AGT Computer Services, St Annes | £18,000 - £24,000 | Permanent AGT are looking for a friendly, approachable and talented individual to provide top class customer service and excellent IT support from our new office in St Annes to our lovely clients over the phone, remotely and when required, site visits. Essential Excellent phone manner and customer service – you LOVE giving friendly advice and personal support on all types of software and hardware. Dedication – To you and your projects, we work tirelessly fuelled on biscuits and tea, to complete tickets and beat SLAs. Documentation - You naturally document everything you do and like to share your knowledge with other people. Passion for IT – always looking to evolve and checking out the latest technology. Security - You've configured a range of security products and have a Day Zero approach to cyber security. Working knowledge of all Server, Desktop and Mobile Operating Systems, Software and Hardware. Basic Network Knowledge Desire to Learn The ability to work overtime Full UK Driving License Desirable Backups - You appreciate the utmost importance of backups and have a working knowledge of backup software. Disaster Recovery – Server Failed? Virus? Hardware Failure – can you take the pressure and get it fixed? Network – IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, VPN, NAT, SSL, SNMP, AP, SSID Understand these acronyms? Lets talk. Virtualization - Experience with Hyper V and VMWare Server Installation and Migration – How quickly can you get a server up and running – show us Cloud – Head in the clouds? Good If you understand your Microsoft 365 to your GSuite, your AWS from Azure we want you.
