Overview
Our client based in Biggleswade is looking for a Technical Advisor. The Technical Advisor will duties will include: - Investigating technical problems and communicating with customers and factories accordingly to provide a technically lead solution - Assisting the Technical Manager with customer complaints in relation to invoice disputes - Providing a dedicated support line for customers and using this to develop outstanding rapport and relationships - Obtain suitable solutions from factories on technical issues and warranty claims - Raising warranty orders, sales orders, work orders, purchase requests and invoices both internally and to customers - Processing warranty claims and ensuring that returned warranty parts are sent back to the relevant factory with correct documentation - Supporting the hands on element of operations by undertaking out of hours responses as and when required The Technical Advisor must be able to demonstrate competencies and skills for the role through experience ideally in the off shore industry, however will accept candidates from automotive/engineering background. Candidates must have a recognised engineering or plant apprenticeship, NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant industry. The Technical Advisor role is full time, 40 hours per week.
