Overview
Express Recruitment are working on behalf of a global leading engineering specialist based in Nottingham. Due to continued success and a substantial increase in their manufacturing requirements, they are seeking a self-highly skilled and methodical Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their talented team. Due to the nature of the role, shift work may apply based on company requirements, including overtime. Please only apply if you are fully flexible in your approach to working hours. In return our client is offering a competitive salary, 25 days holiday plus stats, pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, sick pay, sponsored training programmes, plus the opportunity to gain additional qualifications through sponsored training programmes Duties and Responsibilities outlined but not limited to: Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of PPM systems consisting of mechanical and electrical controlled machinery Troubleshoot PLC systems including Siemens S7 and Allen Bradley and compile detailed fault logs to Maintenance Manager Inspect hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and carry out root cause analysis Assist with the ongoing implementation of process improvements to reduce scrap and production down time Devise efficiency plans for the commissioning of new machinery and equipment including robotics arms, CNC’s, hydraulic presses and bespoke machinery Assist the Production and Maintenance Managers with side projects and LEAN manufacturing pre planning Schedule and pre plan workloads for contractors and apprentices Qualifications and Experience: HNC/City & Guilds/Time-Served Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering PLC troubleshooting experience Knowledge of operating and fault finding on CNC machines/robotics desirable Ability to work to tight deadlines Confident problem solver and able to work under pressure Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD diagrams Flexible with shift work including days, nights and afters If you know you have the required skills and experience and would like to find out more please apply now.
