Overview

Excellent new opportunity for a Signalling Engineer to join our client on a permanent basis in Sheffield. Our client works across a range of project sectors, with a specific focus on the delivery of high-profile rail projects. Due to recent project wins, they are currently seeking a Signalling Engineer to join their team. In this role you will work on a range of rail signalling schemes, covering the complete project lifecycle. You will have a specific focus on the delivery of GRIP 3, 4 and 5. Your key responsibilities will include: Creating detailed designs across all stages of rail projects Provide project management for all signalling construction activities, including testing and commissioning and site supervision Ensure designs and/or construction elements comply with current legislations and construction design management regulations Review signalling design and construction activities Working as part of a multidiscipline design team Acting as the deputy Signalling Design Manager as required Essential requirements: Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or relevant Extensive experience working in signalling design within a consultancy environment Experience working on a variety of challenging projects Conversant with GRIP process, Railway Group Standards, Network Rail Company Standards and CDM Regulations Extensive experience working at GRIP 3,4 and 5 Ability to produce clear and concise documentation, including reports and remits To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK without Visa restrictions.
