Overview
A well-established manufacturer of metal components is currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler to assemble component parts to make up finished assemblies Key tasks: • Selecting kits to assembly, assemble and test products to specification, using air guns and spanners • Working with technical drawings • Check kit for correct parts and refer to stores or supervision over any discrepancies. • Operate overhead travelling gantry crane and provide correct slinging procedure to load and transport large items. • Adhering to H&S policies, using PPE provided at all times and maintaining cleanliness on site • Provide support for requirements of ISO 9001. • To support the implementation of ABS, the continuous improvement process. • Lifting and moving up to 20Kg Successful candidate will have good manual dexterity, good attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience of working with technical drawings and building assemblies is essential. To apply please email your CV in Word format.
