Product Manager (Life) Product Manager / Life Assurance / Solihull / West Midlands My client, a market leading Financial Services Company, known for being a great place to work is looking for a passionate Product Manager to join their growing team at their head office near Solihull, Birmingham. My client promotes flexible working hours and you will also have the scope to work from home for 1 - 2 days a week if required. This will initially be a fixed term contract for 12 months but could extend beyond this. Key Responsibilities: Provide, for a designated book of life products, a final product reference source internally and to outsourcer partners when: literature, documentation and the impact of legislation is unclear or more complex product features and calculation methods, including premium and surrender bases, require analysis or explanation. Ensure continued compliance (with legislation, taxation, regulations and policy conditions) of existing business and increments. Provide product-related support to project activity, including outsourcer transformation initiatives. Maintain appropriate relationships with other departments and outsource partners. Support the designated portfolio of life product issues to an appropriate conclusion. Ensure that the needs and views of all stakeholders are taken into account when applying technical standards and applying technical knowledge. Keep abreast of market developments which impact on the designated life product portfolio and, where appropriate, represent the group at relevant product / legislation related industry and trade body forums, discussion groups and working parties. Provide technical sign-off of product-related customer-facing literature and communications for the designated business. Key Skills and Experience required: Significant life assurance industry experience, ideally with relevant industry qualification. Thorough understanding of the legislation and regulations affecting life products. Experience of managing relationships with other areas of the group and with it's outsourcing partners.
