Overview

A Senior Project Manager is required to deliver a programme of complex, business-critical and cross-functional projects at a global retailer based near to Tamworth. The role will be challenging and very rewarding as you join an exciting and fast-paced eCommerce function as they continue to grow, even at this difficult time. The role will include leadership of several junior project managers, managing dependencies and delivery across the team. As well, you'll have responsibility for developing and optimising best practice project delivery processes across the eCommerce teams and multiple third parties. ROLE: Senior Project Manager - eCommerce LOCATION: Near Tamworth - within easy reach of the M42 and A5, easily commutable from Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Tamworth, Lichfield, Burton-on-Trent, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Walsall, Cannock, & surrounding areas. SALARY:£55,000 - £65,000 & excellent package (incremental salary, 5 weeks holiday bank holidays, pension scheme (rises with length of service), death in service, long service reward, paternity, maternity and adoption pay and bike to work scheme) Offering a collaborative environment with the feel of a start-up, you will be a strong communicator, driven, proactive and able to engage at all levels as you manage internal and external teams based at multiple sites. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Responsible for large scale, complex cross-functional delivery - Accountable for delivery of a sub-programme or projects managed by junior team members - Work with stakeholders to define project direction, budget and deliverables and to establish consensus and clear alignment at all levels - Ensure projects meet time, budget and quality goals - Work with project teams and individuals to establish procedures, plans and practices that promote the adoption of appropriate solutions and ensure the sustainability of desired results - Stakeholder management and communications - Risk and issue identification and management - Completion of stage gate and governance documentation - Programme and project updates to eCommerce Senior Leadership PERSON - Strong experience of delivering complex, cross-functional projects - ideally in retail or eCommerce - Experience with managing a team of junior PMs - Experience of managing dependencies between multiple projects to deliver a programme of change - Strong PM fundamentals - stakeholder management, risk and issue management, governance and reporting Big Red are recruiting for this position exclusively with interview dates booked.
