Engineering Lead/CTO Brief Summary Exciting 12 month CONTRACT Engineering Lead position with a highly reputable tech driven start up organisation in London Perfect for someone capable of setting the technical direction of a complex, data driven product while getting the most out of a highly talented engineering team in an Agile environment. The backend of the product is written in Go on GCP, the front-end code is written in React and there are sizeable data science, data engineering, DevOps and QA teams to lead. You will be a peer to the Head of Product and report directly to the CEO The organisation You will be joining a global organisation which traditionally is known in the utilities/oil & gas industry. This part of the organisation, however, is focused on building B2B software products used in numerous industries. It's a digital incubator which gives birth to exciting technology ventures. The engineering culture is one of technical excellence which is exemplified by the best in class Engineers in the team. The role You will be responsible for the planning and execution of all software initiatives in the team. You will set the technical direction, review code, implement and adopt best practices, recruit and lead a variety of Engineers.
