Then read on … We are working with a start-up in the vehicle technology space that uses IoT and big data to help millions of drivers to give them and car companies all over Europe with real-time health tracking on their car as well as traffic information. The client works all across Europe with some of the biggest names in the automotive industry and are leaders when it comes to the use of telematics data for predictive maintenance of cars. You’ll be working on: The AWS infrastructure using Python Building out microservices using Kafka Expand and build up event models and applications by developing streaming pipelines Writing robust tests and clean refactored code Work in the agile way with members from different teams. From product managers, to developers, devOps, data engineers, and data scientists Requirements (We don’t expect you to have the full laundry list): Knowledge and experience building applications that use stream processing in Python Experience using Kafka or another streaming platform for production operations, streaming processes, configuration, and debugging Knowledge and experience of AWS services DevOps with Ansible and Terraform Data modelling TDD and RESTAPIs Knowledge of concurrency This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89920144
