Group Compliance Manager THE COMPANY This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a rapidly ambitious, progressive and dynamic company in York. They are rapidly expanding and due to this, they are looking to recruit a Compliance Manager to join their established, proactive team. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - To set up, monitor and maintain adequate and appropriate systems and controls to ensure that the company meets its regulatory and legal requirements (e.g. GDPR) - To take ownership and Project Manage all client audits - Review, design and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations - Provide support and advice to the business with regards to GDPR, data security and the physical security of buildings and business assets - Oversee data privacy and protection issues across the Group - To produce the compliance plan for the Group to ensure it is managed in accordance with the company objectives report - Enhance and maintain a compliance culture - Develop as necessary, data protection policies and procedures to reflect best practice and regulatory advice and guidance - Liaise with external advisors and supervisory boards where necessary - Stay up to date with upcoming compliance requirements YOU MUST - Compliance background within an FCA regulated environment - Demonstrate commercial awareness - Competent in Data Protection - Strong influencing skills at all levels of the business - Good understanding of technology, systems and data flows - Knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance, corporate governance, quality assurance and risk WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? £40,000 - £60,000 per annum Full time hours Charterhouse Recruitment (Yorkshire) Ltd is committed to a policy of equal opportunities in relation to job applications.
