Overview

Front End Developer (React or Redux with JavaScript) - based in either Newcastle/Birmingham with 3-5 DAYS REMOTE WORKING PER WEEK My Fin-Tech client provides software and consultancy services to the financial services and wealth management industry. Developers are the essential part to develop and maintain current and exciting new applications supporting the financial industry. I am seeking React / Redux Developers with strong Javascript. REMOTE WORKING IS BETWEEN 3-5 DAYS PER WEEK Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed. We are looking for an experienced React (OR REDUX) Developers with strong Javascript to support a team of junior/mid-level developers across UK offices. The role will involve mentoring and code review as well as development and testing of new and existing React applications written for the wealth management sector. In addition, you will maintain and develop a set of packages based on a create-react-app monorepo which have been created to improve developer efficiency and standardise code across our codebase. This includes a reusable component library which we aim to run cross-platform with a storybook design system. Required skills/experience . 3 years' experience building responsive web applications . Advanced knowledge of React/Redux . Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals . An engineering mindset with an understanding of modularity, testability, scalability, etc. . An appreciation for the importance of unit testing and experience with modern testing tools (Jest, enzyme, Cypress, etc) . A keen eye for design and a passion to create beautiful UIs that are accessible and intuitive . Strong communication skills both verbal and written Desirable skills/experience . Angular 1.x . TypeScript/Flow . Micro-frontend experience . Experience in design systems/reusable component libraries Role offers good corporate benefits plus 3-5 days remote working per week and the ideal Front End developer will be very strong in React / Redux and Javascript.
