Overview
DevOps Engineer - Kent Our client required a DevOps Engineer to build and support the infrastructure as code deployments for a Digital platform both on premise and in the Cloud. The role involves working within a Platform Operations team to enhance and automate the Digital platform deployments to AWS and other cloud platforms in the UK and US. It will also involve working with teams in both geographical locations. DevOps Engineer responisbilities: Build/Configure and Deploy infrastructure into AWS working with US based teams where appropriate Create and maintain automation scripts to build and maintain AWS VPCs / AMI and network resources in the AWS cloud Automate the build of VM based images and templates on a monthly cycle Automate deployments and configurations of both the infrastructure and application stack Your Tech skills: A solid foundation in Windows Server / AD / Networking (Routing, Subnets, Firewall rules). PowerShell scripting and windows image building Jenkins or similar orchestration knowledge Terraform / Terragrunt and Bash AWS Services experience with certifications Your background: Education 3 years' experience in the industry (e.g. working for a hosting provider) Preferably a degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable institution with a 2:1 AWS Solutions Architect (required) Microsoft Azure Certifications (optional) DevOps Engineer - Kent Services advertised by Gold Group are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.
