Senior Structural Engineer Hull Salary up to £55,000 Benefits Ref MR904 Our client has a great reputation across Yorkshire for its expert approach and innovative structural engineering solutions. Our client is currently working on a mix of interesting projects across mixed-use buildings; current workload includes large residential developments, petrochemical plants, transportation structures, apartment blocks, schools, offices and leisure centres. Due to a steady, increasing workload, our client is actively seeking a Senior or Principal level Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5-10 years of design experience to join a competent team in Hull. In order to be considered for this Senior Structural Engineer position you will have gained a strong Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a minimum of 5 years demonstrable experience working in a design environment. Ideally you will have previous experience working on the design of residential and commercial projects and have a strong working knowledge of CAD and Tekla/Tedds. The successful applicant will demonstrate a proactive approach to work and have the ability to assist in leading small design teams. You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal. A valid UK driving licence would be beneficial for site visits and applications will be Chartered or near Chartered status. Working as a Senior Structural Engineer you will get involved in all aspects of the projects from inception through to completion stage. You will assist the Director in running small teams, producing designs, reports and specifications and share your ideas in a collaborative and friendly work environment. Candidates will attend client liaison meetings and assist with bid proposals. You will also have the opportunity to conduct site visits.
