CNC Turner / Programmer

CNC Turner / Programmer is required to join a well-established manufacturer of fittings for a range of industries. The role is based in the Leigh area. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have experience with Turning and programming CNC machinery and have experience with Lathes/Mills. It is also envisaged that the successful candidate will be looking for a long term full time position and will be able to work independently. CNC Turner / Programmer Position Overview Programming, Setting and Operating CNC machines with Fanuc & Siemens Controls manufacture and modify components Production planning using MRP system Adhering to quality standards Ensuring health and safety standards are met. Handling materials and maintaining tool stock levels when ordering CNC Turner / Programmer Position Requirements Previous experience in a similar position as a CNC Turner / Programmer To be able to manufacture and modify components efficiently and accurately Experience setting & operating machinery (using Fanuc or Siemens is advantageous) Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings Be able to set a standard of cleanliness and maintain it in your working area. Previous experience production planning.
