Overview
Management Accountant | Lincoln | up to £33,000 depending on experience McCarthy Adams recruitment is delighted to be working with a vibrant and exciting business, where they are looking to recruit a part qualified or recently qualified accountant for their finance team. Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Monthly Management Accounts. They are looking for a commercially minded management accountant who is looking to help support the business in this period of growth and has the ability help drive the business through good quality reporting. Responsible for managing a small finance team day to day. As the Management Accountant for this business duties include: Production of monthly management accounts Assisting in the production of Financial Management information pack Review of monthly overhead reports and costing information produced by the team. Reconciliation of monthly payroll to management accounts. Provision of information relating to KPI's - producing weekly KPI reports for senior management team and other MI reports Weekly cashflow reporting Accruals and prepayments Responsible for collation of information for annual statutory audit Responsible for the workload and managing a small finance team You will ideally be part qualified / qualified accountant CIMA / ACCA / ACA with a 3 years management accounts preparation experience is desirable. An excellent knowledge of excel and accounting software and systems will be required, along with confident management / supervisory experience. Previous positions may of included Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Manager, Accounts Manager, Accountant, Company Accountant, or Management Accountant.
