Overview
Are you a skilled, process-driven DevOps Engineer who is looking to join a well-established team? Are you looking for a new direction where you will be working on a range of diverse and interesting projects, performing migrations to the cloud, adopting an automation mindset, and leading best practise within your team? Formed 14 years ago, the company expecting a high growth period, aiming to add a roster of talent to their group within the next two years. You will be working in an agile environment amongst some really talented engineers and developers. A major part of the role will be using contemporary and emerging technologies and carrying out migrations to the cloud. There will be a large emphasis on a 'continuous improvement’ culture and you drive change through the delivery of technology-enabled solutions. The perfect candidate will have a high level of experience in scripting languages, ideally Python or Java (Golang is also beneficial) and relevant cloud technology. You can expect to spend some of your time transforming older systems into powerful data grids, improving resistance and stability across platforms. Candidate Specifics Over three years DevOps engineering experience AWS/Azure Effective commercial Windows/Linux OS experience Ability to design and arch software solutions to meet customer requirements - individually and collaboratively with the team Highly competent in, ideally Python/Java Process automation (CI/CD, Jenkins or Chef) Splunk as an open source monitoring tool You’re a positive team player, keen to work collaboratively, share ideas and mentor junior team members Terraform (desirable) Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes This DevOps Engineer role is attracting a high number of applicants at the moment so be sure to get in contact ASAP to avoid missing out.
