Overview
Aspire Cambridge are recruiting a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Assistant on behalf of our client based in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Our client are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their busy team in Ely, but to cover their sites around Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire Roles and Responsibilities: As a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Assistant, you will be ensuring that our client's products are meeting the customer specifications and the correct Quality Management Systems are being adhered to Ensuring that products are stored correctly, meet customer specification and documentation is accurate, with a true reflection of product quality at all stages of the process. You will be expected to record, inspect and test the raw product on arrival and ensure that all finished products leave both sites with the overall packaging an presentation standards met.Position Overview:Monitor stock rotation Record intake inspection results Perform internal analysis on produce and recording results Monitoring stock storage conditions Collecting samples when required Reporting and communicating results to relevant staff Requirements: Good data entry skills and attention to detail Computer literate Self-motivated with the ability to communicate effectively Ideally you will have experience in a QC function within fresh produce Full driving licence is required as travel between sites is a requirement, and this is a very rural area Start: ASAP Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm (Flexible) Salary: £18,000 company vehicle Benefits: 21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (1 day each year increase up to 25 days) Mobile Phone Christmas Ball (black-tie) Regular Social Events Catered open days on farm Summer Races Discretionary Bonus Scheme If you are interested in this position, feel you have the relevant skills and would like to apply please call our team on or apply online.
