Overview

I'm currently recruiting for a growing public sector organisation in Gloucestershire as they continue to invest into the IT function as part of their 2020 Digital Transformation Programme. Client Details My client is a large public sector organisation based in Gloucestershire. They require an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership for the on-prem Exchange and hybrid O365 environment as the Subject Matter Expert in this space. Description My client is looking for a highly motivated and proactive individual who is willing to bring their ideas and provide appropriate challenge to the departmental approach to an infrastructure service. Ideally, the successful applicant would bring strong demonstrable experience of supporting and enhancing IT infrastructures. This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced technical team, installing and maintaining infrastructure services in line with defined practises and standards, ensuring acceptable levels of performance are maintained. The successful candidate will report to the Infrastructure Team Leader and will work closely with the Networking, Security, DBA and Development teams to provide services to an eneterprise scale end user base. Profile Previous experience supporting and enhancing IT Infrastructures. Public sector experience is desirable but not essential Technical exposure to Windows Server 2012 R2 and above, Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, Exchange and Office 365, VMware. Knowledge and previous experience working alongside wider IT teams - networking, DBAs, Development etc. 3rd party/vendor management experience to delivery technical projects Ability to work on mutliple work streams Good communication skills Job Offer £40,000-£45,000 additional benefits
