Overview
A new role has become available within the Pensions/Workplace Investing Operations division of this highly respected financial services organisation. This area supports and maintains pension administration services for a wide range of corporate clients, including full support to pension scheme members at all stages of the administration life cycle through to specialist support to trustees and members for specific task delivery. As the team manager, you will provide people leadership and team management to support senior associates and associates in completion of business as usual processing roles. In doing so you will work as part of the functional leadership team to support the senior manager, enabling change the business activity critical to keeping the team current and proficient in a dynamic and challenging environment. Responsibilities can include The provision of all people leadership responsibilities for the, including allocation of work, one-to-ones, appraisals, performance management, productivity measurement, and guidance Keeping your team appraised of aspects from the wider business and ensure they understand how this relates contextually to their activity Support the senior manager of the function in implementing strategic change to deliver risk reduction, efficiency and enhanced customer experience Creation and comprehension of management information, to make evidence-based management decisions and to provide historic assessments of the team’s position Thought leadership - devising ideas for change, and encouraging better ways of working As someone who is able to demonstrate initiative, flexibility and adaptability, you will already be experienced in providing robust team leadership to a medium to large sized administration team, coupled with a good understanding of pensions and relevant retirement legislation This is an excellent opportunity who is looking to further their career within an organisation that offers full ongoing career development opportunities.
