The opportunity to join as an Accounts Assistant - Temp to Perm in a role offering great flexibility and gain exposure in a varied role. This role will involve training however does need someone with a good grounding with the ability to assist across varying sectors of the company. Client Details A reputable local business that is fast growing and looking to bring on a talented individual as an Accounts Assistant - Temp to Perm. Despite positive growth, they have managed to maintain a family atmosphere and are looking to bring on board a part time candidate to further bolster the finance team. With lots of flexibility on offer this is an ideal role for anyone located in Dunstable, Luton, Milton Keynes or the serotonin area. Description The Accounts Assistant - Temp to Perm duties and responsibilities: Take ownership of parts of the Purchase and Sales Ledger and managing the company ledgers Processing and Raising Invoices Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable Completing bank reconciliations, including entry of payments and receipts of sales - Monthly Processing journals and assisting with month end procedures Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the finance team Credit Control - chasing debt to maintain debt ledger as and when required Weekly cash and credit card reconciliations to identify any variances Assisting the Payroll team as and when needed Processing expenses Any ad-hoc duties as required by the Line Manager Profile Desired experience and skill set for this Accounts Assistant - Temp to Perm role: Be available or have a relatively short notice period Previous experience in a similar role Part Qualified in either ACCA/CIMA/ACA or AAT Qualified Previous experience of working in a similar commercial fast paced environment Capable of working using own initiative to anticipate and resolve issues Accuracy and excellent attention to detail Highly analytical and numerate Locally based in Luton with your own transport Flexible team player Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders Ability to work in a busy environment to strict deadlines Desire to improve processes and commit to the role for the next 2-3 years, growing within the position Job Offer The opportunity to join a prominent organisation within the FMCG industry that is financially strong and looking to invest in talent to develop.
