Overview

Application Support Engineer / Software Support - Reading £30k Avanti Recruitment is working with a successful software house based near Reading to recruit an Application Support Engineer to join their team. Working in a customer focused environment you will provide outstanding application support, working to SLAs for their software products for over 300 customers and across their multiple software platforms. The role will include both system monitoring and responding alerts as well as reactive customer support. You will work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve incidents including root cause analysis through reviewing log files, writing SQL queries to pull data from databases to check data integrity and analysis of other data sources. To be considered you will have experience in a Software Support or Application Support role. You will have a good understanding of web and Internet technologies and relational databases (SQL Server) including being able to write SQL queries (T-SQL. We are not looking for a IT Desktop Support Engineer you must specifically have been supporting bespoke software applications for clients.
