Overview
Technical Analyst - Salary £30,000 - £35,000 DOE Pension Excellent Benefits Based: Amersham Our client, a partner-led business which prides itself in providing straight forward and well communicated pension advice have a exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Technical Analystto join their Team. Key Responsibilities: Keep up to date with regulatory and market developments that affect pension administration Identify regulatory and market developments that will affect pension administration Developing/maintaining processes ensuring regulatory analysis/change are implemented Ensure stakeholders understand the implications of regulatory changes Provide support to keep technical training material up to date as required Deal with and provide guidance on technical queries as required Explain complex issues in a straightforward, easy to understand manner Identify and provide relevant training Consultancy, project based or committee work as agreed Research and development of solutions to new or unknown issues, making recommendations Attend meetings with providers, clients and prospects, if required Consult authorities including DWP, HMRC, Pension Regulators & Information Commissioner Read, research and understand documentation and legislation to resolve queries Prepare PATHways or similar bulletins/articles Support, Implement and Maintain Information Security procedures Any other reasonable task as advised from time-to-time Essential Skills and Experience: Good academic record including Maths & English Grade 5 GCSE A relevant qualification or progress with PMI examinations is desirable Previous experience of working as a Technical Analystwould be ideal Communicate complex technical matters with a good knowledge of pension law A willingness to communicate and pass on knowledge Maintain an in-depth technical knowledge to enable high quality support High level of IT literacy including Microsoft Office programmes, in Excel, Word and Outlook Outstanding organisational, listening and communication skills Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving skills, resolving issues before they develop This is an exciting role with a progressive and professional employer, apply today or contact us for more information.
