Support Worker We are one of the largest learning disability charities in the UK, supporting 2,500 people through our friendly, supportive, creative and diverse teams. As a support worker at Hft you’ll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible. In this caring and creative role, everything you do will enable people to have choices about their own lives, creating flexible services that meet people’s needs and always looking for the best way of doing things. Clementi Court is a registered care service for a total of eight people in two purpose built bungalows and has a lovely warm homely feel. We provide support in all areas of an individual’s life from personal care to widening their social network and all of our staff support individuals to ensure they can participate as much as possible. You will be welcomed in to the long established team; all of whom have a wealth of knowledge to help support new staff and coach you along the way and you will also receive outstanding training for your role. Salary: Up to £9.08 Hours: Various hours - 37.5 & 22.5 Location: Clementi Court, Evesham What we Offer Apprenticeships - gain a fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care whilst earning. You don’t need experience of support work or any special qualifications for this job - you’ll get plenty of training along the way. It’s great if you already have experience of learning disabilities and supporting people with complex needs, but this is by no means essential. What matters most is your positive attitude to life and your desire to support people to live theirs with as much independence, choice, dignity and control as possible.
