Overview
CK Group is recruiting for a Senior 3D Printing Engineer to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Leeds on a contract basis for 6 - 12 months and has an hourly rate of £32.22 PAYE. The Company: Our client is a multinational medical devices, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods manufacturing company who offer the worlds most comprehensive portfolio of orthopaedic and neuro products and services for joint reconstruction, trauma, spine, sports medicine, neuro, cranio-maxillofacial, power tools and biomaterials. The Location: The role is based at our client's state of the art R&D and production facility in Leeds. This site is a short distance from the M621 and is easily commutable on public transport as it is a short distance from Leeds city centre. The Role: The 3D Printing Senior Engineer based in Leeds you will be an integral part of a global team who will develop 3D Printing technology in partnership with the operating companies who will ultimately bring 3D Printed products to market. Key Responsibilities: - Research, develop and implement material, product and process specifications - Utilise advanced technologies to design and translate complex 3D product models to advanced 3D Printing technology - Lead Risk Assessments for products while understanding the clinical and regulatory requirements. - Develop deep insights into the needs of our operating companies, patients, customers, markets and communities. To cultivate external relationships and forge internal collaboration across all levels of the enterprise. - Drive innovation by anticipating and shaping industry and market changes to advance health care globally. Your Background: - Degree in Mechanical/Biomedical/Materials Engineering or a related discipline with Extensive experience - Experience in R&D of Medical Devices - Experience in 3D Printing / Additive Manufacturing - Proven track record of successfully delivering projects - Strong decision making and problem solving skills - Self-motivated, with focus on Quality, Delivery and Cost. - Excellent Planning & Organisational Skills - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes For more information or to apply for this Senior 3D Printing Engineer position, please contact Kate on , quoting job ref 47841 It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
