Overview
Our client is a web development agency based in Manchester who focus predominantly on .net and PHP platforms. They have been established for over 20 years and have worked with a variety of industries including finance, retail, healthcare and automotive. Furthermore, they also support other agencies who do not have the technical capabilities which is sometimes demanded of them. They are now looking to recruit a bid manager to take responsibility for writing high quality bid responses for new tenders as well as developing and maintaining a knowledge base of standard answers and templates. The incoming candidate will be required to introduce and coordinate the entire bid process by liaising with internal teams and senior stakeholders to ensure submissions are made on time and are the right quality. As such, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills; in particular written grammar, spelling & vocabulary, and will also understand the technical concepts and relevant tender questions to be able to provide clear concise responses. The ability to perform against tight deadlines is also vital. Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Technical writing experience Technical awareness including an understanding of Ecommerce/Software solutions Excellent interpersonal skills Attention to detail and able to understand and respond to complex documents Ability to work with senior managers Strong Microsoft Office Suite with exceptional Word and Power Point formatting skills and Excel numeracy and formula understanding Adobe Design Package experience would be an advantage By proceeding with this application, you are consenting to Rowan Recruitment Limited’s collection of your personal information and handling of that information.
