PLANT SUPERVISOR - Based Near Stoke - up to £32k DOE van - Hands on Plant Supervisor to join a construction plant hire company and supervise a team of up to 10 staff. Benefits Up to £32k salary DOE No Weekends Company Van The Role of the Plant Supervisor The Plant Supervisor will be based near Stoke and will be responsible for up to 10 members of staff, providing support and guidance whilst also being hands on repairing plant equipment such as diggers, dumpers, excavators, telehandlers etc. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the efficient running of the workshop Duties of the Plant Supervisor Arranging delivery and collection of plant machinery Support and assist with leadership and technical advice to engineers Oversee the availability of equipment/spares Liaise with colleagues to optimize efficiency and implement lean ways of working Carry out risk assessments to meet health and safety guidelines Provide effecient cost management of spares and repairs to equipment and vehicles Workshop staff Management Ideal Candidate Previous experience in repairing plant machinery is essential. PC literate Excellent communication skills NVQ level 2 or C & G in Plant Maintenance would be preferred - time-served experience considered Administration skills Leadership and decision making Ability to work under pressure to set deadlines and prioritise tasks A confident and flexible attitude Full UK Driving licence
