Overview

Willows Hospital is a Rehabilitation and Recovery service, which is situated in Gorefield, where our multidisciplinary team offer high quality recovery focused care to adults with a range of mental health needs. We are seeking to recruit highly experienced and motivated Recovery Support Workers to join our rehabilitation and recovery hospital in Gorefield, who share our vision for high quality Mental Health recovery services and who want to make a difference. In your role as Recovery Support Worker you will have the ability to effectively lead, motivate others, to participate in the audit process as set by the hospital. You will provide safe and compassionate care of a high standard in line with the CQC fundamentals of care whilst working collaboratively with residents and staff promoting a recovery ethos service. You will ensure all residents, visitors and staff are kept safe from harm, abuse and neglect. As a Recovery Support Worker you will be expected to work shifts as required by the hospital. Previous experience working within a Mental Health setting is essential. Recovery can be a reality for everyone with Mental Health problems. Focus on individual need, not diagnosis. Risks should be understood, but managed positively . Service users have a right to live in a decent, safe, caring environment with support to engage in and with their local community. Pathways to more independent living should be an integral part of support planning. Previous experience working within a Mental Health setting is essential. Why CareTech?
