Overview
Warehouse Operative - Days (6am-6pm) First Call Contract Services are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on behalf of our Industry leading client. You will be working at a Regional Distribution Center where stock is taken and distributed to stores around the UK. This is an extremely busy and fast-paced environment surrounded by moving vehicles. both inside and outside of the Warehouse. Quick Starts Responsibilities: You will be need to be confident and full of initiative, you will be responsible and trusted to keep the Warehouse clean, safe and efficient at all times whilst at work. You will be reporting to your Section Leader on a daily basis. They will set you tasks such as, loading and unloading vehicles or helping to organise pallets and crates. You will have to be constantly alert and ready to take on any tasks that need completing, you will play an important part in the smooth running of the Warehouse. You will be working on equipment in the Warehouse, therefore, it is imperative that you work in a safe manor and you are always complaint with the client's health and safety procedures. The equipment will have to be maintained, so it is also important that you raise any problems with your Section Leader. You are expected to be punctual, efficient and have a good attitude towards work. Desirable qualifications: Previous Warehouse experience is preferred, however , if you believe you have the necessary skills for this job please apply.
