Test Analyst X3 - Junior to Senior Levels Sheffield Salary/Benefits: £25,000 - £50,000 Benefits Harvey Nash are currently recruiting for a number of Test Analysts at varying levels from junior to senior for one of UK's leading solutions companies who partner with some of the country's best-loved brands. They are about to go on a huge programme of tech and software transformation, you will play a pivotal role. You will be ensuring reliable software is delivered to support the implementation of projects and primarily IT / business change. As the IT Test Analyst you will work as part of an Agile team based in their Sheffield office, working closely with the IT Teams, specifically the Software developers, IT Business Analysts and Project Manager, ensuring that high quality and robust tests take place against new IT Service functionalities. Job Duties Working within an Agile SCRUM environment, to assist Business Analysts and Developers to finalise user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, test scripts, and defect management approach for IT delivery projects Design and create robust test scenarios, test cases and test data sets for use in manual, exploratory and automated tests Undertake hands on manual and automated testing of new IT functions and interfaces, to ensure functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications are met. Ensure environments and test data are appropriate prior to starting tests Liaise with developers to ensure efficient turnaround of defects and feedback for product enhancement via Product Owner Essential Experience You will have proven experience conducting manual functional tests on software applications, CRM systems and experience in preparation of test scenarios, test cases and assistance in creating functional requirements. As well as the following essential criteria: An improvement-focussed mindset Experience of testing in an agile software development environment Experience of writing and executing test scripts Ability to identify and recommend suitable introduction of new processes and/or procedures to systems and processes Proven experience in requirement gathering, test preparation and execution for major application integration and/or major application product release SQL Being articulate and communicating effectively An improvement-focussed mindset The role on offer comes with a generous salary (to £50,000 p/a), excellent benefits including an annual bonus, flexible hours and working, Local parking discounts, structured training/development and many more.
