Overview
Recruitment Advisor required for our Dorking based client, 6 month FTC up to £30,000 Your new company A commercial organisation based in Dorking, Surrey Your new role Working within our clients Recruitment team they are looking for a Contractor Engagement Advisor to play a key role in assisting and coordinating their contractor supply chain, taking responsibility for the Human Resources related aspects of contractor engagements. This includes supporting the Recruitment Business Partners in identifying appropriate contractors to fill each business opportunity and facilitating their introduction to the company. This role is initially a fixed term contract for 6 months on a full time basis 5 days a week but we would consider part-time hours for the right candidate. Key tasks: Work with Engineering and Business Managers to identify contractor requirements for the next 3/6 months and managing any other ad hoc contractor requirements that may arise. Budget negotiation with hiring managers to understand the level the individual will come and work and the rate we can pay. Co-ordination and checking of engagement paperwork including Task Specifications and Purchase Approvals. Ensuring compliance with legislation (including IR35 and GDPR) Playing a key role within the Recruitment Team in the development of policy/process and systems relating to the procurement and management of contractors. Recruitment activities related: Sourcing suitable candidates for contractor opportunities using a variety of recruitment mediums Negotiation of agency rates and preparation of agency agreements Review of CV's submitted and dissemination to appropriate stakeholder(s) Arrangement of Associate interviews Negotiation and preparation of Associate agreements On boarding process: Co-ordination of the security clearance process working with the Security department to ensure all relevant paperwork is completed/returned Co-ordination of all relevant facilities and IT resources for each contractor Management and maintenance of records and registers and all personal data relating to associates Co-ordination of contractor inductions Preparation of contractor purchase orders What you'll need to succeed Some previous recruitment experience A self-starter who is able to work with little or no supervision at times.
