Overview
I am recruiting a unique opportunity for an Assistant Accountant in Gloucester for our global client. Often unheard of at this level they are looking for a part time candidate for 25 hours a week. Are you AAT qualified or studying ACCA/CIMA and looking for only part time hours? Are you looking to work alongside an experienced team of financial accountants in a commercial environment in which you will be involved in the below; Responsibilities Both assisting with and performing monthly close duties, Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly group statutory reporting. Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, supporting year end audit, providing regular business analysis. General project support throughout the team and other additional support as requested by the Financial Accountants. Required skills/experience: You will ideally be part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, need to have a good understanding of the above, strong IT skills Excel in particular, experience of using SAP is preferred but candidates without will be considered, be very driven as you will be given project work, high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and a team player attitude. Although not essential, proficiency in Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian would be advantageous.
