Overview
Gilbert Meher currently has a great opportunity for a Magento focused developer to join a well-established team, working on a variety of projects across the company, based in central Leeds. Working on eCommerce projects, you will have a high degree of understanding of PHP & Magento. We are looking to convert all of our Magento 1 websites into Magento 2, followed by the development of brand new stores. There will be the opportunity to work on plenty of PHP based projects from the off, usually in WordPress and Laravel. Project planning is important to us and you can expect to be involved from every part from inception to deployment. Essential An excellent, thorough understanding of PHP development (LEMP stacks) Strong Magento experience JavaSript experience Experience with unit-testing PHP applications Experience using MySQL Implementation of Restful API's Good understanding of Git-based source control Some experience in XML, XHTML and CSS You never rest on your laurels.
