Are you a fully qualified finance professional with an ambitious and driven approach with a robust commercial acumen? Due to recent growth, Transparent is supporting this dynamic and fast-paced business in the recruitment of an energetic and focused finance professional. Reporting into the CEO, you will play a key part of the leadership team with specific responsibility for all areas of finance, treasury/foreign exchange, governance, regulatory reporting and risk management. As a committed and hardworking individual with a hands-on approach, the Finance Director will provide challenge and support to all aspects of the Group, and will be responsible for the control and review of all financial matters. Your responsibilities will include: - Reporting to the Board on the financial performance of the Group, as well as other information to include governance, treasury/Forex and regulatory matters - Development and efficient leadership of Finance and Administration departments - Management of strategy, planning, forecasting and budgeting - Assessment, management and reporting of risk areas across the business - Development and preparation of management information reports - Responsibility for the management and development of IT systems to support the growth of the company - Preparation of all statutory accounts and implementing new accounting frameworks/standards - Tax returns, pension arrangements and payroll, ensuring full compliance with HMRC requirements - Develop and manage effective relationships with auditors, bankers and other relevant business partners The Person: - Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - High calibre and credible individual - Previous experience in senior financial leadership positions from with an SME - Strong track record of success with significant experience of leading and managing a finance function - Strong technical skills, commercially aware and with a meticulous eye for detail - Highly people oriented and with a customer centric approach - Able to think ahead and anticipate the needs of the business - Prepared to "roll their sleeves up" with an affinity towards a medium sized organisation - An ideal would be previous exposure to a wholesale business to include licencing contracts/royalty reporting In return, our client offers a competitive base salary together with bonus scheme, gym membership, discount scheme, free parking, DIS, etc. If this role sounds like your ideal next career move and you would like to hear more about the business, please contact Samantha Harris for further information.
