Overview

Test Manager - Insurance - Perm Our client; one of the world's largest Insurance groups are seeking a Test Manager on a permanent basis to join them, reporting to the Programme & Test Assurance Manager. They're looking for someone to manage the Project function within Testing & Service Acceptance arena, ensure that Projects are effectively tested against agreed functional and non-functional requirements and ensure the effective scheduling, use and management of preproduction environment availability, performance and integrity. Key Responsibilities: Implements and maintains a well-structured approach to test defect management and incident reporting Monitors and reports the status and progress of each test phase to different stakeholders as required Regular review and update of relevant processes and procedures Line Management, including objective setting and development, of the Test Analysts and Technical Test Analyst Represent Testing and Service Acceptance Team in various project meetings Pro-actively demonstrate required behaviours in line with expectations of the role Champions the company values and works in accordance with the organisational behaviours To be aware of and comply with the relevant rules and regulations in relation to financial crime & conduct Key requirements: Must have experience of using test and defect management tools such as Quality Centre and Jira Experienced with team management A true manager, not a test lead, with excellent experience of stakeholder management, team management and inspiring your team by leading from the front. Good knowledge and experience of test automation, for example Selenium and Python desirable Exposure to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) desirable Exposure to working in an Agile & DevOps environment desirable Experience of Reporting tools, for example Business Objects, Power BI desirable Formal Test qualification such as ISTQB, ISEB desirable ITIL foundation qualification desirable Must have experience of Insurance - London Market Experience - specifically knowledge of Reinsurance/LORs/Market Messaging Must have experience of London Market Policy Administration System (PAS), for example Eclipse Underwriting Must have experience of Claims Management System (CMS), for example Guidewire Claims System Workflow tool, for example PEGA, Outsystems desirable Experience of working with third party suppliers, including offshore teams If this role is of interest, please apply today for immediate consideration.
