Overview
Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant that’s now seeking a new position in 2020 and ideally with a recognised, award winning, employer in the Milton Keynes area that offers an enviable working environment, competitive salary and very attractive benefits package? This established and highly successful medium sized business with operations throughout the UK, now wishes to appoint an Accounts Payable Assistantto their existing team that will focus on processing supplier invoices and petty cash claims, along with payment runs and assisting with the month-end procedure. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role as Accounts Payable Assistantwill primarily be responsible for, but not limited to; Invoice coding Providing cover to others in Accounts Payable as and when required Ensuring all accounts paid for via Direct Debit are allocated accordingly Investigate any negative supplier balances and obtain additional documentation or refunds where required. Working with suppliers to deal with any queries in a prompt and professional manner. With good interpersonal and all round communication skills (both written and verbal), you’ll be a Accounts Payable Assistant that possess a strong all round accounts clerical background, particularly accounts payable and associated duties, along with excellent numeracy and good demonstrable MS Office (Excel etc.) experience.
