Technical Manager Job ref: 62562 | c. £40,000 | North London The company This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fresh, newly created business which has been featured in many recognised food media channels. The company boasts a wide range of high quality and unique products and has undergone tremendous success since its inception. The job As Technical Manager, you will oversee the safety, legality and quality of food produced and sold by the business. You will also carry out supplier audits, site audits and be the technical lead on any new product development. As the first technical hire in this fast-growing business, you will work to drive the business’s compliance and quality forward, possibly targeting a third-party audit. This role presents an excellent opportunity to take the lead of the technical function, delivering a robust food safety and technical framework and be a key part of the company’s progression and development. Your experience To be considered for the Technical Manager job, you will ideally be educated to a degree level in a food science/technology discipline and possess a solid quality/technical track record within food manufacturing or retail environment. You will ideally have a good working knowledge of current BRC standard requirements and have a strong understanding of food safety and legal standards. More details The Technical Manager job is based in the London region and is paying c. £40,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus bonus scheme and company discount.
