Overview

This expanding Accountancy firm based near Warmley has created a brand new full-time position for a Senior Accountant/Accounts Senior. You will have a great opportunity to work with a variety of clients to deliver a comprehensive, professional and client focused service. The role offers scope to progress into management, for the right candidate, as the practice continues to experience year on year growth. The role: Assisting the accounts managers and directors, you will provide a complete service to clients, getting to know their personal financial situation as well as their business, to give tailored and comprehensive advice. Your responsibilities will include: Preparation of year end financial statements Preparation of corporation tax and general business tax computations Supporting the trainee accountants Liaising with clients, both face to face and over the phone Preparation and review of quarterly VAT returns and ensuring deadlines are met Advising clients with their bookkeeping requirements About the firm: A practice who offer a friendly and professional service to their clients. About you You will be an experienced accountant with strong recent experience in practice, perhaps looking to take on more responsibilities. You will be qualified AAT/ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience. You should enjoy client contact and have a strong work ethic. You will also have excellent Excel skills and ideally will ideally have experience of using Sage and Digita Accounts Production, although this is not essential.
