Temporary Parts Operative (HGV) Morley On - site parking Our client based in Morley, a busy (20 engineer) road transport business are looking for a parts administrator to join their team on a temporary basis. The team are looking for someone who has a background within the HGV industry and can competently identify 44 tonne trailer running gear parts to support their team. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and a 4-weekly Saturday morning rota. Key Duties include; Receiving parts from suppliers/couriers and putting the parts in their allocated spaces. Viewing road tankers and trailers and identifying required parts Sourcing required parts from suppliers Negotiating best prices Issuing parts to staff Arranging couriers and packing for parts order customers Managing stock levels Inputting parts orders and deliveries into a database system Raising PO and invoices on a database Must be/have: Essential - Experience working in a transport parts / stores department Good interpersonal skills - at all levels Good customer service experience Ability to work under pressure Good IT skills Well organised Fork lift license would be desirable
