As a Latin America specialist you will be handling tailor-made adventure trips to Central and South America for a more discerning traveller . Latin America Travel Consultant Job Description: giving expert advice to clients and travel agents and creating and costing bespoke trips to the continent ; liaising with overseas ground agents and airlines assisting with promotions and exhibitions brochure production and website updates preparing client travel packs; invoicing and airline ticketing contracting new properties/products and monitoring overall standards overseas. Researching and travelling overseas to meet hoteliers and suppliers Latin America Travel Consultant Skills: A driving licence and an interest in photography would also be useful. someone who is enthusiastic and whose passion for travel is infectious. previous knowledge of Latin America is essential including some of the following countries; Costa Rica, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Galapagos, Argentina or Chile. good telephone manner, excellent written skills and be highly organised and have good attention to detail. The ability to multi-task and prioritise your workload will be crucial.
