We are recruiting a creative and free-thinking Toolmaker to form part of the team responsible for the manufacture, repair and development of process equipment parts and the manufacture and installation of parts required during the refurbishment of process machinery. As Toolmaker , you will; Provide Toolmaking support for the refurbishment of process equipment. Provide support and assistance to the technical department on a day to day basis and during plant shutdown periods. Supports the Manufacturing Engineers in the installation of new equipment and the modification of existing equipment. Be actively involved in continuous improvement initiatives and providing input using your expert knowledge. The successful candidate will have served an apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering capacity. You will have experience of using manual mills and lathes and ideally TIG or MIG welding abilities. You will be a creative engineer that can provide solutions to problems by making bespoke parts or modifying existing parts. You will have good communication skills and be IT literate, preferably with some CAD experience. You will also be willing to develop your design skills.
