We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Secura team in Welwyn Garden City. The Operations team is responsible for monitoring and support of Secura customer services and internal infrastructure. The team operates both pro-actively and re-actively to ensure Secura customers have the highest level of service in terms of availability, performance and security. The Senior Cloud Engineer has overall responsibility for the delivery of technical projects, including delivery of new technical services and provisioning of customer services. This person is also an escalation point for technical issues arising from the 24/7 service desk. This person must be able to mentor less experienced staff, be calm in a crisis, meticulously organised and thrive under pressure. Key Tasks & Responsibilities Ensure the customer is delighted with the Secura Operations Team. Proactively manage events and incidents as they arise through the Secura Service Desk. Manage and participate in problem management. Be an authority for the Secura change management process. Ensure customer technical documentation is maintained. Manage scheduled maintenance tasks. Manage technical risks to customer platforms and Secura. Mentor and inspire technical staff. Involvement in the planning and provisioning of new services. Prepare & present migration plans to senior staff for approval. Handover services to customers.
