Overview
This highly collegiate firm is looking for lawyers with broad corporate/commercial insurance experience and strong interpersonal skills to join its award winning team. The firm is looking for lawyers with experience in all aspects of corporate/commercial work in the insurance sector including corporate matters, commercial matters such as the distribution of insurance products, regulatory work including helping clients to set up new structures and advising on remuneration arrangements between insurers and brokers and restructuring matters including Part 7 transfers. The team is already busy with a very good volume of work for a fabulous range of insurance clients. The firm wants to maximise the clear opportunity to do a lot more for existing clients, who are largely general insurers, and to cross sell to potential clients. The firm would take a Partner or an Associate/Counsel on track. For the right person the firm would also consider taking an Associate/Counsel straight into partnership. Our client would also consider taking an in-house lawyer. Excellent technical skills are a prerequisite but interpersonal skills are equally important as a good personality fit is key.
