£41,184 per annum (equates to NHS Band 7) | 44 hours | Days | Good CQC Rating | Elderly & Dementia Care | Experience Essential | An RGN or RMN qualified Ward Nurse Manager is required to lead a large, privately owned elderly and dementia care home in Maidenhead. Details of this Ward Nurse Manager RGN/RMN vacancy and what the successful candidate can expect to receive: • 44 hours per week on a permanent contract • Day shifts only • A competitive annual salary of £41,184 per annum which equates to NHS Band 7 • A great opportunity to lead an already CQC compliant care home As Ward Manager, your role will involve planning and co-ordinating the quality and management of nursing care, patient care and the clinical environment. You will undertake direct patient care where necessary while ensuring the ward complies with statutory regulations, current legislation and meets quality standards The skills, experience and qualifications required for this Ward Nurse Manager RGN/RMN post: • Qualified Adult General Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN • Up to date NMC registration • Experience of dementia and challenging behaviours is essential • Good communication and interpersonal skills and confident leading shifts and coordinating care • Proven ability to co-ordinate care, prioritise tasks and manage Health and Safety issues • The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience working in a supervisor position and experience supervising nursing staff For further details, or to apply now, please follow the link provided.
