Practice Nurse

We have a brand-new Practice Nurse vacancy for an experienced candidate in Weston-super-Mare , near Worle . The GP surgery is in a lovely purpose-built site, in a built-up residential area, with parking available for all staff members. They have around 15,000 patients on their list, with a large Nursing team to match, and an additional 7 HCAs to support, 5 Salaried GPs and a Clinical Pharmacist. The centre has a great track record, with a Good CQC report across the board and excellent patient reviews with 89% of patients recommending the practice The patient demographic consists of a slightly older population, with a higher instance of chronic diseases. You will need to have experience with managing the chronic diseases such as Diabetes, COPD, Asthma and CHD, however it does not need to be at diploma level. You will also need to have your standard treatment room skills including Cytology, Child Immunisations, Travel Immunisations, Dressings & Wound Care, Vaccinations, Ear Care etc. General Practice experience is essential.
