Overview
If you feel you are a highly motivated and passionate community psychiatric nurse with experience in working with in a community setting and you wish to progress in your career to succeed in a new challenge this could be an excellent an opportunity you may not want to pass you by We are looking for a community psychiatric nurse to begin work as soon as possible taking on a case-load of working age adults (18-65) who are experiencing mental health problems such as: anxiety, depression, psychosis. Working with these adults you will be required to use your knowledge to identify safe and appropriate treatments for the service users. To be successful in this role you must display excellent skills in communication and use your knowledge to provide high quality care to the service users who will rely on your help. Day to day tasks in this role would include: supporting services, providing risk assessments, creating care plans and making referrals. The role is to begin work as soon as possible and is due to run until July 2020 with the possibility of extension. The role is full time and working hours per week are 30-37.5 Monday-Friday. The role is for a band 6 nurse and is based in Gateshead. As a community psychiatric nurse working for this client your duties will include: Supporting patients to work towards living independently within the community Providing high quality care to help prevent patient hospital admissions Working along side other services to help patients including, social workers, OT's and consultant psychiatrists Spending time with regular patients who require their medication to be administered within the clinic Carrying a caseload and helping with care plans for patients Managing psychoeducation with patients Working for Randstad has many fantastic benefits such as: A unique app which allows you to manage your shifts at the click of a button Competitive pay rates of up to £24 per hour Specialised in house training which counts towards NMC revalidation A Randstad employee app offering fabulous discounts in shops & restaurants The minimum requirements for this role are: - NMC registered - Mental Health Nurse As a potential candidate you will be registered with NMC and have a qualification as a Mental Health Nurse.
