Overview
Press Officer, Dunstable - An excellent opportunity for an accomplished PR and communications professional has become available to work within an award-winning communications team. This position has a wide degree of impact externally and requires a creative thinker with excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. You will need a minimum of 2 years extensive press experience and a suitable skill set including press release creation, social media, website content, events and crisis management. As Press Officer you will contribute to the effective operation of the press office. Important aspects of your remit will include, but not be limited to, producing accurate, targeted copy for a variety of media sources (both print and online). Responding to media enquiries and maintaining records of contact with journalists, you will also proactively seek positive media coverage in national, trade, consumer and regional media.
